Apex Trader Funding: the true cost, before you pay.
What a 50K and a 100K Apex Trader Funding evaluation really costs, how the drawdown works and when you can get paid. Summarised in our own words from Apex Trader Funding's official pages, checked on 2026-09-27.
1. True cost: 50K and 100K
50K evaluation
$680pass first try
- Evaluation price$590 one-time
- Activation fee$90
- Resetnot offered: buy a new evaluation
- After 1 failed attempt$1,270
- Profit target$3,000
- Max drawdown$2,000 (EOD trailing)
100K evaluation
$1,280pass first try
- Evaluation price$1,190 one-time
- Activation fee$90
- Resetnot offered: buy a new evaluation
- After 1 failed attempt$2,470
- Profit target$6,000
- Max drawdown$3,000 (EOD trailing)
Monthly fees: None on new accounts: Apex states 'One Time Fees – No recurring billing' (legacy accounts keep recurring billing).
True cost = evaluation + activation. "After 1 failed attempt" adds one reset (or a new evaluation where resets aren't offered). List prices before any sale or code; firms run promotions often, so confirm the final price at checkout.
2. Drawdown: how you can fail
Apex Trader Funding: EOD trailing (checked once a day at the close); an intraday-trailing product is also sold.
"EOD" (end of day) means the limit is set from your balance at the close. "Trailing" means the floor rises with your best balance, so profit you give back still counts. "Intraday trailing" follows your balance in real time, including open trades.
3. Payout rules
- 100% payout split
- 5 qualifying trading days of $250+ profit (50K) or $300+ (100K)
- 50% consistency rule
- minimum payout $500
- safety net = drawdown + $100
- max 6 payouts per Performance Account (per-payout caps: 50K $1,500 to $3,000, 100K $2,000 to $4,000)
In short: you keep up to 100% of profits, subject to the conditions above.
Plan notes
List prices before coupons (a site-wide coupon was running on 2026-09-27). Activation $90 on EOD accounts. No reset on new evaluations: touching the EOD threshold fails the evaluation and you buy a new one. 30-day access period per evaluation. 'No Activation Fee' EOD variant: 50K $1,190, 100K $1,590. Intraday-trailing variant: 50K $249 + $59 activation.
