What you pay, what you must hit, how you can fail, and when you get paid. Summarised in our own words from IQ Capital's official pages. Anything we haven't verified says "check official site".

New firm (2025), limited independent payout history

1. What it costs

• Current sale / promo: Sale prices seen 2026-09-27: ~$18 (50K futures Core, position-loss) and ~$40 (50K CFD/crypto Core). First-time 50K futures challenge reportedly ~$9, once per customer (third-party report). Sales change often: verify at checkout.
• Activation fee (paid after you pass, to get the funded account): $129.
• Ongoing fees: Monthly fee on funded accounts: $5 per CFD/crypto account; futures $19 or $39 per account (the official FAQ shows both). Challenge extension $19 per 30 days.
• If you fail: check official site.
• True cost if you pass first try (50K): $308 at list price; about $147 at the ~$18 sale price, plus the monthly fee once funded. Add retries in the calculator.

2. How you can fail: drawdown

IQ Capital: 6% EOD trailing (locks at starting capital); per-trade loss cap 1% in challenge, 0.5% funded (3rd breach closes the account).

"Max drawdown" is how far your account can fall before the evaluation ends. "EOD" (end of day) means the limit is checked against your balance at the close, so swings during the day don't count against the limit until the day ends. "Trailing" means the limit moves up as your account reaches new highs, so profits you give back still count.

Per-trade rule: Per-trade loss cap: 1% of the account in the challenge, 0.5% when funded. All positions in the same market count together, and costs count toward the cap. The first two breaches are soft (the trade is closed, the account survives); the third is a hard breach and the account is closed.

3. Getting paid

• 90/10 split from the first dollar
• first payout after 10 active trading days, then 10 new active days + 50% new profit per payout
• each payout capped at 50% of profit and $1,500-$2,500 (50K), $2,000-$3,000 (100K), $3,000-$4,000 (200K)
• funded consistency 30% (best day)

In short: you keep up to 90% of profits, subject to the conditions above.

Who can join

Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand are on the official accepted-countries list (KYC required).

Things to know before you buy

• Domain registered June 2025; no verified founding date.
• Unregulated; funded accounts are simulated (only the invite-only IQ Elite tier is described as real capital).
• Official pages name different operating companies (Saint Lucia and UAE).
• Payout volume and trader numbers are self-reported; independent reviewers had not confirmed a payout as of Sep 2026.
• One public, unverified complaint (LinkedIn, May 2026) describes a funded account closed under the losing-trades rule after the $129 activation.
