Take Profit Trader: the true cost, before you pay.
What a 50K and a 100K Take Profit Trader evaluation really costs, how the drawdown works and when you can get paid. Summarised in our own words from Take Profit Trader's official pages, checked on 2026-09-27.
1. True cost: 50K and 100K
50K evaluation
$300pass first try, 1st month
- Evaluation price$170 per month
- Activation fee$130
- Reset$99
- After 1 failed attempt$399
- Profit target$3,000
- Max drawdown$2,000 (EOD trailing)
100K evaluation
$460pass first try, 1st month
- Evaluation price$330 per month
- Activation fee$130
- Reset$169
- After 1 failed attempt$629
- Profit target$6,000
- Max drawdown$3,000 (EOD trailing)
Monthly fees: The Test is a monthly subscription ($170/mo on 50K, $330/mo on 100K) until you pass or cancel. A reset does not change the renewal date.
True cost = evaluation + activation. "After 1 failed attempt" adds one reset (or a new evaluation where resets aren't offered). List prices before any sale or code; firms run promotions often, so confirm the final price at checkout.
2. Drawdown: how you can fail
Take Profit Trader: Test: EOD trailing. PRO: intraday. PRO+: end of day.
"EOD" (end of day) means the limit is set from your balance at the close. "Trailing" means the floor rises with your best balance, so profit you give back still counts. "Intraday trailing" follows your balance in real time, including open trades.
3. Payout rules
- PRO: 80/20 split, withdrawals from day one, buffer required
- PRO+: 90/10 split, no buffer
- no daily loss rule on PRO/PRO+
- up to 5 PRO accounts
In short: you keep up to 80% of profits, subject to the conditions above.
Plan notes
List prices shown on takeprofittrader.com on 2026-09-27 (a promo code was advertised that waives activation). PRO activation is a one-time $130 fee. Reset prices are scaled by size (50K $99, 100K $169). Test minimum: 3 trading days plus 50% consistency on new tests bought from Aug 17, 2026 (tests bought earlier, and their resets, keep the 5-day minimum), per TPT's blog post '3-day evals'.
